FoxCreek boasts easy access to major roads that lead to Richmond and its adjacent counties via Routes 150 and 288, Highway 1, Highway 301, and Interstate 95. FoxCreek is within twenty miles of several major area employment centers such as the Federal Reserve, the state government complex, and the Medical College of Virginia. Nearby employers, including DuPont and Defense General Supply Center, fuel a growing economy.

A few miles south, Route 288 provides direct access to Western Chesterfield, Henrico County, and the West End. Innsbrook Corporate Center, the Innsbrook Pavilion, and Short Pump Town Center are just minutes from Route 288. Less than sixteen miles east of FoxCreek, Route 895 significantly reduces commute time to Interstate 64, Richmond International Airport, and points beyond, including Atlantic coast beaches.

Alongside FoxCreek, within a short walking distance, is the area’s newest high school, Cosby High School. Opening in Fall 2006, its location near FoxCreek with be further enhanced by walking paths that will connect the community and the school grounds. Cosby High School will be the Health Science Specialty Center for Chesterfield County.
